South Melbourne Market Update

WOW, we did it, Melbourne!

Our Market store will be opening on Wednesday 28th October at 8 am.
As always, the health and safety of our staff and customers is our top priority. We have done a deep clean at both stores and temporarily placed some boundaries around our market store to help keep the 1.5m distance. We clean and sanitise all common areas and touchpoints regularly. Face masks are still mandatory in Victoria, and our staff will be wearing one at all times. We thank you in advance for wearing a mask while shopping at the market.

249 Coventry will operate, as usual, 10-4 pm, seven days, for our lovely local 25km radius customers. We have placed a limit on how many customers can enter at one time to ensure there are no more than four people per 4 sqm. We are offering a refrigerated delivery service via our online store for everyone outside the 25km radius.

To mitigate the risk in the event of a positive test result of one of our staff members, we have split our team into separate shifts. These split shifts will allow our team to work in physically different spaces across our stores Monday to Sunday.

Thank you again for supporting our small business. You have been so supportive, kind and shown so much love over the last seven months. We are also very proud of you all respecting one another while visiting our store.

Our suppliers are trying their best to keep providing us with the best food we have to offer during these challenging times (COVID and wet weather). Please note: we will be limiting our raw food stock at our Market store over the warmer months. The market store overheats quickly and puts a lot of pressure on the freezers. Our full range, when available, will be stocked at our Coventry Store and online.

Your patience is always appreciated.

Peace and love
Janine, Jason, and TPG Team.
